Testing Yields Exciting Results!
Over the past few weeks we've been market testing our low power, long range radio between our offices here in sunny Calgary and a remote site.

Invited to meet with us at Medicine Hat Gas City Petroleum Show

You want to monitor tank levels, leaks, temperature, flow and more. Wireless is the best way to avoid the high cost of a wired solution, but traditional wireless doesn’t always work. Frequently there are too many reflections, too much data, or too much power. You can either wire the network or setup extra powering, repeaters, mesh, etc. But this is a hassle, not to mention the expense.  What are your options?

Myotis’ patented Batlan spread spectrum technology eliminates the need for capital expenditures on solar panels and reduces operating costs typically associated with battery failures.  Batlan spread spectrum technology uses a unique chirp signal which allows the wireless radio to remain in ‘sleep mode’ (thus preserving valuable battery life) versus ‘standby mode’.  In addition, because chirp signals are highly robust, they are able to rapidly turn on and off which means they do not needlessly draw energy. Finally, radios using Batlan technology are able to transmit and receive data in fractions of milliseconds which also preserves necessary battery life.
